Last call begins 30 minutes before closing. The only days we are closed are Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We close early on Super Bowl Sunday, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. What is the cost for a tasting?

Our individual tasting fee is $18 per person for groups of 10 or less on weekdays. Group tastings for 1 to 20 are $25 per person on Saturdays & Sundays and are done at a reserved table in our tasting room with one of Paradise Springs’ expert wine educators.

Weekend group tastings must be reserved and paid for in advance for larger groups. For smaller parties, if a wine educator is available, we can accommodate weekend tastings on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our Experience Tour/Tasting is $45 per person. This can be purchased on the day if space is left, or in advance. For our tastings or tours, please head to the Visit Us tab. Any tipping for excellent service must be in cash.

Do you take reservations for tastings?

No reservations are needed for seating or for tastings Monday through Friday. You can reserve a private group tasting or a special seated tasting experience here.

To simply visit us and commandeer tables on a first-come, first-served basis, groups of 10 or less can be accommodated in the tasting room. Groups of up to 30 can be accommodated in any of our outdoor spaces.

If your group is larger than 30, or you plan to arrive by bus, van, or limo, please call the tasting room at 703-830-9463 or send an email to wine@paradisespringswinery.com.

I have a large group. Can we come without a reservation and can you handle a group tasting reservation of this size?

Arrivals of any large parties without prior notice may be declined from entering the grounds and the winery. We ask that all groups of more than 10 plan to commandeer space outside, and groups larger than 30 plan to contact our events team for a private rental. Group tastings can be accommodated for groups between 1 and 20 in size on Saturdays and Sundays with a reservation.

If traveling by bus, van or limo you MUST contact the tasting room to ensure we can accommodate you and what time you will be arriving. Absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed to come off of the vehicle.

Any visibly intoxicated patrons will not be able to be served and we reserve the right to turn away the entire group if visibly intoxicated. Making any group reservation does not include reserved seating or a dedicated area after the tasting is complete.

Can I call ahead and reserve tables for my group?

No, all seating on the property is first-come, first-served. We do not take reservations for tables. We do, however, have private rental options that can accommodate groups of 10 to 150. Please call the tasting room at 703-830-9463 to inquire or email our events team at events@paradisespringswinery.com.

Can I come out early and reserve tables if I have a large group coming?

All tables and groups, both indoors and on the back deck, are limited to 10 people or fewer. Groups of more than 10 people are welcome to use our lawn area picnic tables. For groups of 10 or fewer, we require the group to be sitting at tables. We do not allow items to hold tables. Any food brought must be set up on the table where you are sitting. We do not allow tables for food only. No tents are permitted.

Do you sell food or have a restaurant?

We have our own Paradise Springs Food Artisan Truck, which serves artisan pizzas and alternating menu items such as tacos, sandwiches, and different sides and sweets. It’s open from 4 pm – 6:30 pm on Thursdays, 2 pm-8:30 pm on Fridays, and 11 am-6:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

We also sell a wide selection of à la carte gourmet cheeses, meats, crackers, baguettes, spreads, and various snack-type foods available every day. Due to health department restrictions, all of our food items are prepackaged, and disposable utensils are used (unless you have a special event with a caterer).

Am I allowed to bring my own food and tent?

Yes, we do allow for guests to bring their own food on a limited basis. Any food brought into the tasting room must be kept to a minimum so as not to take away from the ambiance of the winery. Any and all food must fit at the table you are sitting at, as we do not allow “food only” tables or tables used as buffet stations.

  • No coolers are allowed inside or on the back patio.
  • All coolers brought onto the grounds for outside use are subject to search.
  • No dishes or appliances (crock pots) are allowed to be plugged in.
  • No catering trays with burners or Sterno are allowed.
  • No outside grills are allowed.
  • No tents are permitted.
  • No cooking of food at any time.
  • No open flames.
  • No solid-colored plastic cups (e.g., red Solo cups) are allowed.
  • Additionally, we do not allow tablecloths or other decorations inside our main tasting room or on our back deck (including balloons).

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.

Am I allowed to bring beer, my own wine, or any other alcoholic beverages?

NO. It’s against the law in Virginia to bring outside alcohol to an establishment already licensed by the Virginia ABC board. Any outside alcohol found on premise will be immediately confiscated, and you may be asked to leave the property.

We take this very seriously.

Additionally, no solid-colored plastic cups (such as red Solo cups) are allowed.

Can I bring my own de-alcoholized wine/beer/spirits to the winery?

No, we do not permit guests to bring their own de-alcoholized beverages to the property. With our permit, we instead offer a few options for sale legally.

Can we bring decorations and gifts if we are celebrating an occasion?

We allow decorations and gifts only on our lawn area or with the rental of a private space. Any decorations are to be kept to a minimum so as not to impact other guests and must be cleared through our events coordinator. No balloons are allowed anywhere on site. We do not allow tablecloths or other decorations inside our main tasting room or on our back deck (includes balloons).

Any gifts brought must be able to fit on your seated tables. We do not allow “gifts only” tables, nor do we allow gifts to obstruct any pathways throughout the winery.

Additionally, we do not permit selling of merchandise by any vendor at our winery.

Do you offer tours?

We offer our signature “Experience Tour and Tasting” on Saturdays and Sundays. Tours are offered all year long. No children or dogs are allowed on the tours, and all patrons must be 21 years or older. Large group (5 to 20) private tours can be arranged at certain times throughout the week. Make a reservation for a tour HERE.

Are you family friendly? Are children allowed at the winery?

While we strive to remain family-friendly, for the enjoyment of all our guests, children must be well-behaved and remain with their parents at all times. No children are allowed in any production area at any time.

While children are welcome at the winery, the back patio deck is reserved for adults only. Parents who do not abide by these rules may be asked to leave.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation as we strive to create an environment enjoyable for all.

Are you dog friendly?

We love dogs!…just not inside the buildings. We welcome dogs on our lawn area but are unable to allow them inside any building including the back deck or the red barn. All dogs are required to remain on a leash at all times. This is to ensure the safety of children, other dogs, and your own dog. We ask that you please clean up any mess left behind.

Do you have refrigerator space or ice available?

No, but you are welcome to bring your own cooler with ice for use on the outside lawn. Coolers are not allowed inside the main tasting room or on the back deck. Coolers and large bags are subject to search for outside alcoholic beverages.

Can I book a private party or corporate event?

Yes, we have a couple of venues that can be rented during business hours, or we can rent the entire facility for an after-hours event. Please email events@paradisespringswinery.com or call the tasting room at 703-830-9463.

Our events manager will be happy to assist you in booking an event with us. Because private events can vary in many different aspects, we take all inquiries on a case-by-case basis. Pricing can be affected by many factors depending on what you are seeking. No standard pricing is available.

Do you host wedding receptions or ceremonies?

We are able to host wedding receptions and ceremonies for up to 175 guests after the winery closes to the public on Saturdays and Sundays.  For more information, please email events@paradisespringswinery.com or call the tasting room at 703-830-9463.

When do you have live music? Is it free to attend?

Live music is scheduled for every Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm – 5 pm. Check out our full lineup list and upcoming schedule for our Virginia facility. All musical performances are free of charge, provided you are enjoying an item purchased from the winery. Winery patrons only.

Once the Tasting Room closes, can we still hang out on the back deck or lawn?

No. Last call begins 30 minutes prior to closing and the buildings and lawn spaces close promptly at the time advertised.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes. You can purchase gift certificates in increments of $25 and may do so in person at the winery OR online under “Gift Cards.”

Do you have any job opportunities?

We are always looking to add great people to our incredible staff! If you are interested in joining the Paradise Springs Winery team, please email us at resume@paradisespringswinery.com and attach your résumé.

I am a musician. How can I get booked at Paradise Springs?

Please send us an email at music@paradisespringswinery.com. In your email, please include a description of your music, your rates to play, and a link to where we can listen.

We review all artists extensively prior to booking to ensure the quality and style of music fit with our ambiance. Booking is often done months in advance, and often a trial performance is required before being offered a regular performance.

Do you have a mailing list?

Yes! Please sign up using the subscribe form at the bottom of this page to join. We send out a monthly email with winery updates and events.

Do you have a wine club?

Oh, absolutely! You can find out more information about the Paradise Springs Wine Club for both our Virginia and our Santa Barbara, California locations.

How do I get there?

For directions, please check out our Visit Us page. If you are still unsure of directions, we suggest entering our address in MAPQUEST. 13219 Yates Ford Road, Clifton, VA 20124.

Please note: Apple Maps will ask you to turn left on Evans Ford Road just before you arrive. This is wrong. To get to the winery, continue straight on Yates Ford Road.

Can you ship wine?

We are able to ship wine to select states. Each state has its own rules and regulations regarding the shipment of wine. The states we are NOT permitted to ship wine to include: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, Rhode Island, and Utah.

For more information regarding shipping rates, please contact the tasting room at (703) 830-9463.

Do you allow prom or homecoming photos?

No. As the primary purpose of our business is to serve alcohol, we do not allow prom or homecoming photos on our property. Under some circumstances we can accommodate wedding/engagement photography. Please email wine@paradisespringswinery.com for your inquiry.

If I place an online order, how long does it take to ship the wine?

Shipping can take up to 3-5 business days. If you need your order delivered by a certain date, please include that information in the “Notes” section upon checkout.
